Ability Services was born from a shared vision, decades of industry experience, and a friendship that’s stood the test of time.
It started over 20 years ago when Steve and Eric met in college. Though their professional paths diverged—Steve becoming a master electrician in New York, and Eric diving into the world of national painting projects—their connection remained strong. Eventually, they crossed paths again in the world of commercial work, and with the addition of John, a seasoned renovations expert from Philadelphia, the foundation for Ability Services was set.
Steve brings 15 years of expertise in the electrical industry. A proud union-trained master electrician based in Port Chester, NY, Steve has worked on lighting upgrades and large-scale projects across New York City. He’s known for his attention to detail, deep technical knowledge, and his unwavering commitment to quality. Beyond the jobsite, he’s a proud father of two girls.
Eric, based in Arnold, MD, has spent over 15 years in the painting industry, the last decade focused on serving national customers and leading complex, multi-site projects. His strategic mindset and client-focused approach make him a driving force behind Ability Services. He’s also a proud dad to one daughter.
John, hailing from Philadelphia, PA, has 12 years of hands-on experience in painting and renovations. His resume includes managing unit renovations at the largest multifamily complex in the country—over 11,000 units. John has worked alongside Eric for nearly a decade, forming a partnership rooted in trust, results, and a shared work ethic. He’s a father to two energetic boys.
